Spotlight Submissions Rules

Spotlight image of the month submission steps, rules and info.

RULES & DETAILS

You may submit up to 3 entries per month. All entries must be in .png or .jpg/jpeg format. All entries must be of your own making (no copied/stolen images). Hacked or modded gameplay is allowed to a degree. Any hack/mod used should not be blatantly obvious in the capture, should not change the natural look of the game and the end result should be reproducible by in-game means without mods/hacks. Any submission suspected of breaking this rule will be placed under a 90-day verification hold. The author will be notified with a request to provide information on the means/method. Entries that blatantly show modding will be excluded without the need of verification. If you expect that your image will need to be verified, please add a brief explanation to the image's file page. Edited/shopped images as well as low quality images will not be considered. Rotating and cropping the image is fine. All entries must have file name formatted properly (see steps) before upload. Submissions must be in 16:9 format or may be cropped by administration to meet guidelines. Once submitted, images may be reused for other articles and/or references on the Journey Wiki. Winning submissions will be selected based on artistic quality via public vote. Winners may not be notified prior to publishing. Winners may be announced on the Journey fan Discord and/or the JourneyPS3 subreddit Deadline for entries is 6 calendar days before the following month. Entries after deadline will be counted towards following month's entries. Newly Winning submissions are published on the 1st of every month.

Use the steps below to submit your entry.

STEPS:

1. Before upload edit your image file name to include this format month-year-username-entry# (1-3) i.e. July-2021-coolusername-1.png
   NOTES: The month should be the month the entry is for, in example if you are uploading in June, the month for the file name would be July. The username in the file name can be anything you wish, it is our way to identify the winner of the submission and for announcements.
2. To Submit and Upload, you must be signed in. We recommend uploading from a Desktop computer.
3. To start your submission click the Submit Entry button at the bottom of this page, it will redirect you to another page to upload the image. (The next steps will also be visible on the upload page)
4. On the next page click the (Mass Upload) button and select the image file for upload.
5. Click the Upload All button after the file has been selected to upload the image.
6. Click the Save button at bottom of page, your image should be added for submission.
